The Poole Charter Skippers Association annual species hunt took place on Friday7th June.  18 teams entered with 15 anglers from L & D.S.F.C representing various teams.   Team Lymington consisted of Marc Duncan, Robin Lane, Andy Richmond and Dave Wood who were aboard "Out of the Blue" and the decision was to fish the Saddlers for the 2 point fish.  First drift saw Robin land a scad.  With the next drift Team Lymington had a mackerel and a grey gurnard.  We then anchored looking for rays and congers.  Marc had a tub gurnard, a red gurnard and a whiting with Dave landing a tope and a dogfish.  Next we did a couple of drifts over the Patch where Andy had a rock cuckoo and a pouting.  Various mini species were landed.  We then had a drift for plaice before anchoring again on the patch for the rest of our mini species and a conger.  Before heading back to the harbour we had a couple of drifts by the channel buoys looking for plaice and Marc managed to find one right on the last drift.  With a move then into the harbour by the chain ferry for bass and the final drift of the day by the castle looking for a ballan wrasse or a pollack.  Robin caught a pollack for Team Lymington giving them a total of 18 species on the day.

Team Lonis Angling who also sponsored the bait consisted of Ed Taylor, Paul Hollyoake, Chris Ellis and Malcolm Gerrih and were fishing aboard "Blue Duo".  First stop was looking for mini species on the patch catching blenny, bailians and pouting to start the day and after fishing many areas finished in harbour with a bonus bass being caught by Ed in the very last minute giving a total species count of 17.
