2nd Shallow Boat Competition.
On Sunday 19th January the club held its 2nd Shallow Boat competition. The day was cloudy, very cold with a light southerly wind. 13 club members signed on and caught fish consisting of conger eel, dogfish, pouting and whiting. On these competitions all the fish are measured and points awarded and released back into the sea.
Results:
1st Charlie Nash 70 points, 2nd Ryan Nash 60 points, 3rd Adrian Moody 51 points, 4th Alan martin 41 points, 5th Barry Littlefair (6 fish) 40 points,
6th Denis Mapes (4 fish) 40 points, 7th Paul Watson 35 points, 8th Jack Nash (3 fish) 25 points, 9th Alan Mapes, Neil Mitchener and Ady Hulme
all 2 fish each and 25 points, 12th Chris Hardy 10 points.
1st Shallow Boat competition was cancelled due to the weather.
