2nd Adult Win-Sum League Competition results sent in by Colin Saunders.
On Wednesday evening 10th April the club held its 2nd Adult Win-Sum League competition at Steamer Point. This was a changed venue from Warren Edge. 13 club members signed on and 12 caught fish which are measured and returned to the sea as soon as possible. These competitions are fished in zones, pegged and for points.

1st Andrew Dawkins 10 fish 353 points, 2nd Malcolm Stote 7 fish 133 points, 3rd Colin Saunders 2 fish 122 points, 4th Chris Ellis 5 fish 114 points,
5th Paul Watson 3 fish 108 points, 6th John Tharme 4 fish 82 points, 7th Marc Duncan 39 points.

Largest round fish was a bass of 91 cm caught by Colin Saunders.
Smallest fish was a pouting of 14 cm caught by Pete Chamberlain and also a 14 cm whiting caught by John Tharme.

A notable fish caught at Steamer Point was a bass of 11 lbs 12 3/8 oz caught on a number 6 hook by Colin Saunders.

On Wednesday evening 20th March the club held its 1st Adult Win-Sum League competition at Hordle Cliffs. 14 club members signed on and all 14 caught fish which are measured and returned to the sea as soon as possible. These competitions are fished in zones, pegged and for points.
