2nd Shore Competition 19th January.

Finley Munden does very well indeed.
On Saturday the 19th January the club held a shore competition at Sandbanks, Poole Harbour. The weather was definitely not the best with rain at the start and a cold south east wind. 15 club members signed on and 6 weighed in fish consisting of whiting, pouting, dogfish and flounders. 12 fish in total were weighed for a total weight of 7lb 2.4oz.
Best flat fish of the evening went to Finley Munden with a flounder of 13.2oz. Best round fish of the evening was a dogfish of 1lb caught by Chris Ellis. The specimen pool of £31.00 is a rollover to the next competition.
Results:
1st Chris Ellis 1lb 13oz, 2nd Malcolm Stote 1lb 7.4oz, 3rd Finley Munden {jnr} 1lb 5.4oz, 4th Paul Watson 0lb 11.2oz, 5th Ed Taylor 0lb 8.6oz,

1st Shore Competition 9th December.

On Sunday the 9th December we held our 1st shore competition for its 2018/9 club year. The competition was the clubs Christmas rover in which 15 club members signed on and 9 weighed in 46 fish for a total weight of 20lbs 5.4oz, which included dogfish, whiting and pouting. The weather was dry and sunny but sadly with a strong north - westerly wind.
The best round fish pool went to Paul Dibden with a dogfish of 1lb 4.8oz. The best flat fish pool and the best specimen pool were both rollovers to the next competition.

1st Andy Hopkins 8 fish 3lb 8oz, 2nd Paul Watson 6 fish 3lb 7.4oz, 3rd Paul Dibden 3 fish 3lb 3.2oz, 4th Malcolm Stote 9 fish 3lb 2.4oz,
5th Keith Panks 8 fish 2lb 12.4oz, 6th Danny Panks 8 fish 2lb 4.8oz, 7th Leo Chamberlain {jnr} 2 fish 0lb 14oz, 8th Roland Blomfield 3 fish 0lb 11oz,
9th Pete Chamberlain 1 fish 0lb 8.2oz.
Best flat fish pool of £35.00 and best specimen pool of £15.00 are both rollovers to the next competition.
