Recreational Fishing Trip 16th June.
The Club stsrted up their recreational fishing trips at the beginning of June and in accordance with goverment guidelines it was with a reduced number of anglers on charter boats. The first trip on the Tuesday 16th June was aboard "Mistress Linda" out of Poole with five club members and skippered by Phil Higgins.
Phil went out of poole to go drift fishing between Bournemouth and Boscombe Piers where a number of small Plaice were caught. Then we headed out to a six-mile mark where a number of species were caught including tope, rays, plaice and a nice smoothhound weighing in at 14lbs plus caught by Steve Pitman.

Recreational Fishing Trip 11th July.
The club held a recreational fishing trip on Saturday 11th July aboard "Last Laugh" skippered by John Skeggs out of Lymington. With the weather lookin good for the whole day we headed for a mackerel mark just past the Needles where a good number of mackerel and scad were caught. After about an hour we headed back to The Bridge at the Needles where we float fished for bass, catching a few good bass through out the day. The best went to Paul Wilson with one weighing in at 6lb 4oz.

Four club members had a good day's fishing.
On Saturday 18th January four club members went out on "Piscary" skippered by Matt Rowe out of Poole. Richard Day, Paul Hollyoake, Rod Giles and Andy Southwick fished the banks and had a very good day catching bass, spurdog and conger eels. Nine different species were caught including a bass of 9lb 14ozs and a spurdog of 15lbs 8ozs for Richard Day and Rod Giles caught a conger eel of 34lbs. Thank you Matt Rowe for a good day out.
